Molescroft was a village in medieval times based round the crossroads where the Malton and Driffield Roads split. There has been a pub here since 1754 (originally the "Marquis of Wellington" now the "Molescroft Inn"). The village has had a Parish Council since 1937. More detailed information is available via the Link "History of Molescroft".
